It's been a a great summer of collaborative twang, starting with our Crying Cane tour through GA, NC, WV, PA, and VT, not to mention the various international Americana jams we struck up in the UK. Last week Mike's Uncle Bob joined us in Florence, MA for a bluegrass set, and the week prior we saw a couple friends round out the group for a show in Pawlet, VT. Our summer shows continue this weekend: 8/14 Bluegrass Thursdays at Nectar's with North of Nashville, 8/16 Brickhouse Pub in Housatonic, MA with Misha Greene.
We had a wonderful trip overseas to the UK and France. We played for our biggest crowd yet at the Maverick Festival, met up with some friends old and new, and even got the invite back to numerous venues along the way for next summer.
We've had an amazing few months back in the South, but we're excited for our upcoming east coast tour with Chris Henry & The Hardcore Grass, and Delta Cane. Check our schedule for dates!

What excellent folks at The Crying Wolf in Nashville! We got to play our namesake watering hole in music city last night with special guest Chris Henry on mandolin. We tracked the whole show and will be releasing it soon.
Looks like we're headed to England this summer to play the Maverick Festivalwith some other great Americana groups! We've added dates in Scotland and France as well. Can't wait to take our tunes across the pond.

We've been settling right back into the south with many warm welcomes and fun shows. We've got some great nights and festivals to look forward to, including some shows with our friends, Delta Cane as a new side project, Crying Cane. A few parts Louisiana Cajungrass, a couple parts Vermont Bluegrass, and five-part harmonies all in one show? Yes Ma'am!
We had the pleasure of playing a gig in India last night, at the Stone House in Goa. Our time here has been a great break from nine months of steady gigging, but we were excited when asked by a few local musicians to come out and play some "real American music." Turns out they're hooked on American and British music over here. Not one sign of traditional Indian music yet, but we're holding out to hear a jangling sitar or twain before we head back home.

On our way north. We played James River Brewery in the sweet town of Scottsville, VA, and continued on to rock out with some punk bands in Pittsburgh, PA, courtesy of the hospitable Jerry Lyon, of Porno Tongue fame. We're heading into the snow for the holidays and can't wait to get back to Vermont to pick with some friends and family!
